Development of new products in collaboration with the customer
The development process of a new product begins by collecting data from customers, identifying the main production needs and critical issues, feeding the company activity on a daily basis with new ideas that are innovative, with an eye towards costs and market evolution.
Feasibility analysis
A technical presentation to the customer follows. The idea passes through the CAD to become a 3D model, integrated into the layout of the existing system, only in this way it becomes tangible, real, to allow those who propose the project and those who purchase it to evaluate the feasibility, the economic impact, share a timing and plan everything, up to the installation and start-up phases.
Prototypes manufacturing
Prototyping, a complex challenge that allows to expand the company business, dictated by the market and ambition, often faced in close collaboration with the customer. A team of engineers, designers and software technicians undertakes a way which, through conception, construction, testing and final confirmation, only provided by production line, leads to a scrupulous validation of the project, to guarantee its performance and safety , and deliver it to the customer.

Over the years, important challenges have been faced, which have made us grow, allowing us to apply the principles of design and programming in different fields and compete with the countless faces of the industry. Automotive, and much of the satellite activities, production of detergents, processing and packaging of contact lenses, glass handling, paper industry. And obviously bottling. From quality control to transport, through processes and applications of all types, managing both the main product and secondary packaging.

Direct all the company's efforts on a few targeted processes to optimize and perfect them, and occupy a position of excellence among the reference companies for that specific process. Modern production is not very flexible if we talk about concepts such as safety, precision, reliability. Expectations that should not be disregarded. One process among all: Application of the handle. Demanded in the beverage sector, but not only there. Decimo can supply it for different products, different sectors, customizing every aspect of the machine.

The wide range of products that Decimo can offer, particularly dedicated to the application of the handle, make our catalogue exhaustive for every type of product and customer. The items or packs to be handled can be very disparate, as well as the production regimes. The Company also provides automatic systems for the application of elastic labels and tamper-evident seals.

All the machines produced and installed over the years, despite the full compliance of their performance with customer expectations, have never stopped the process of our devices improving, even the ultra-tested ones. Historical and Geographical Context of the Origins of Decimo Srl

Aquinum, ancient Rome on Pontine soil, and today Aquino, a treasure trove of Roman and medieval history, the birthplace of St. Thomas Aquinas and Giovenale. It is in this richly evocative context that, in 2010, we decided to found Decimo Srl. A year that marked the beginning of a new chapter for us, with a name that wanted to celebrate our Italian identity, echo Rome internationally, and at the same time honour our local roots. Via Giovenale, in our Aquino, dedicated to the Roman poet Decimus Junius Juvenal, seemed to us the most natural choice to christen our company. And from a small 32 square metre office, close to the medieval village, we started building the future of Decimo Srl, bringing with us the strength of history and the enthusiasm of the new.
When Crisis Becomes Opportunity
2010
Decimo Srl: a story of resilience and rebirth. Born from the will of two founding partners, who came from a leading company in the sector of automatic machines in severe crisis, our company took shape in February 2010. Motivated by adversity and backed by solid skills gained in that same company, soon other professionals - technicians and engineers also from the same company - chose to join us. Despite the initial economic difficulties, resulting from previous non-payments, we dedicated ourselves to our work with fervour. And the market's response was not long in coming, immediately giving Decimo Srl its first, major satisfaction.
Filing of the first patent
2013
Faced with the growing demand for increasingly high-performance and fast packaging machines, Decimo Srl set itself an ambitious goal: to create a newly designed handle applicator, capable of exceeding industry standards. Through constant research and prototyping, an innovative prototype was developed, designed to guarantee high production speeds and full compatibility with the latest bottling lines. The achievement of this technological milestone was proudly formalised on 23/05/2013, through the filing of a patent application for Industrial Invention: "Applicator arm and machine comprising said applicator arm for applying partially adhesive handles to moving objects".
One Step at a Time: From Difficulties to a New Location
2014
The roots of Decimo Srl were initially sunk into impervious ground. The economic straits of the early days, linked to the vicissitudes of the previous company, drastically limited the resources available for facilities and equipment. Yet it was precisely from these limitations that ingenuity was born. We still remember our first project, a Cartesian pneumatic manipulator, assembled with craftsmanship in the garage-workshop of one of the founding partners. Soon, in order to take on more ambitious orders, collaboration with a precision mechanical construction company proved providential, which became a key partner, hosting us and manufacturing essential components. Step by step, we overcame the initial difficulties. The turning point came with the acquisition of an industrial factory in Piedimonte San Germano, strategically located near Cassino. While maintaining the technical office in Aquino for a while, the new location allowed Decimo Srl to grow, investing in a structured manner in human and technological resources.

2015
The fruits of the first years of commitment and dedication were not long in coming. Decimo Srl began to attract the interest of important players in the beverage industry, who recognised the value of our solutions and entrusted us with increasingly challenging orders. It was from these collaborations that the need for even faster and more sophisticated machines arose, prompting us to evolve further. The culmination of this path was the XHE electronic handle, a natural development of our patent, which soon became a symbol of our success in the industry. Thanks to this achievement, and to the trust of our customers, Decimo Srl was able to continue its path of growth, investing with determination in the future.

The growing demand for increasingly sophisticated packaging machines prompted Decimo Srl to take the crucial step of investing heavily in cutting-edge technology. Significant effort was put into the acquisition of prestigious software licences, covering a broad spectrum of areas: from CAD design to business management (ERP), from customer relations (CRM) to PLC programming and 3D graphics and visualisation. These investments were not limited to the purchase of software, but also included substantial resources for continuous staff training through specialisation and refresher courses. In parallel with this technological transformation, the Decimo team was enriched with new talent: experienced technicians, young engineers and bright students eager to prove themselves. The technical department, the beating heart of the company, thus underwent a phase of expansion and consolidation, becoming a true pole of competence, capable of supporting customers with increasingly innovative and efficient solutions.

Our machines began to travel beyond the Italian borders, conquering new international markets. Even influential bottling line distributors chose us as their partner, recognising the quality and reliability of our solutions. These partnerships with global players proved to be an extraordinary opportunity for mutual learning and development.
